Minnesota Occupational Health (MOH) was founded in June of 1998 with the sole purpose of delivering occupational medicine services to employers and their “industrial athletes.”

The Minnesota Occupational Health (MOH) Shakopee clinic provides work-injury urgent and follow-up care including digital x-ray. Dr. Swann, M.D. , FACOEM, FAAFP, MRO is the primary physician at this location. He has an extensive background in environmental and occupational medicine and is a federal Medical Review Officer MRO.

Dr. Maria Starchook-Moore M.D., M.P.H. along with Dr. Swann provide work injury care on a walk-in basis in addition to conducting preplacement and DOT physical exams, respirator clearance and fit-testing among many other services. X-ray and physical therapy and work-related drug and alcohol testing are available.

MOH Shakopee houses a 4,000 square foot Work Performance Center staffed by Occupational Therapists. Here, therapists perform post-offer work simulations, functional capacity evaluations (FCE) and work conditioning. MOH ergonomic specialists are available to go on-site to develop functional job descriptions through Job Task Analyses (JTA).

Morgan Sanken, O.T.R./L one of MOH’s ergonomic specialists performs pre-hire work performance testing and work conditioning in the 4,000 square foot MOH Work Performance Center.
