Hazardous Material Medical
Examinations for HAZMAT WorkersMinnesota Occupational Health can provide medical clearance and/or monitoring for exposure to a number of hazardous chemicals or elements and viral agents, as required by OSHA. Listed below is a list of some of the more common exams, and alphabetical link to the OSHA site so you can review the appropriate OSHA requirements, or visit the advanced OSHA search page.
Lead exposure. If you fall under the general industry or construction lead standards, Minnesota Occupational Health can provide the appropriate exams and/or blood lead draws at our clinic or your facility.
Hazardous material handler (HAZMAT Team). The medical evaluation, 1910.120f will be tailored to the particular agent or chemical for which your employees may be exposed. Many of the potential harmful substances require medical monitoring if the PEL (permissible exposure limit) is exceeded. Do you need assistance in determining the PEL of an agent?

Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure. Minnesota Occupational Health can provide initial medical assessment and on-going medical monitoring. Depending upon the number of employees we can provide on-site service needs where required.
Tuberculosis mantoux screening tests, single or two-step, can be provided at the clinic or at the company site. For known positive responders, we can provide the required chest x-ray within the same day, if needed.
